Ailes issued a statement that supported Kelly, saying Trump's Tweets were both "unacceptable" and "disturbing," Politico said.

Trump's latest Tweets aimed at Kelly, posted Monday night, included statements that she was "off her game."

"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly," Trump also tweeted Monday night. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"

Trump, whose Greenwich estate is on the market, also retweeted a tweet that referred to Kelly as a "bimbo."
