Police, School Officials Among Highest Paid In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Police and school officials once again topped the list of highest paid public employees in Fairfield for 2013, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

Fairfield Schools Superintendent David Title was the highest paid public employee in Fairfield in 2013.

Superintendent of Schools David Title led the way with an annual salary of $$283,568. Police Lt. Christopher Tursi was second, earning $223,870, but more than $60,000 of that came from private contractors and was not paid by the town, the Fairfield Citizen reported.
