Rich Lowry To Speak At New Canaan Republican Event

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Rich Lowry, editor of the National Review, will be sharing his views of the state of the GOP nationally as well as talking about his book “Lincoln Unbound” at the New Canaan Republican’s annual Lincoln Dinner Friday.

In addition to working for the National Review, Lowry also appears on Fox News, NBC, and PBS, a release from the New Canaan Republican Town Committee said. He has also authored several books, and is married to Vanessa Palo, whose family lives in New Canaan, the release said.

State Rep. Tom O’Dea (R-125 New Canaan, Wilton) will serve as the chairman for the event.

The dinner serves as the primary fundraising event for the New Canaan Republican Town Committee, the release said.

The dinner is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Woodway Country Club in Darien. Tickets are $150 per person, and $250 for patrons and can be purchased by calling Dionna Carlson at 203-972-6570 or Cristina Ross at 203-550-6283.
