Licata was born on Sept. 12, 1937 in Sciacca, Italy to the late Vincent and Josephine LaRosa Licata. A retired carpenter for the City of Yonkers, Licata is survived by his wife of 55 years Maria Mitrione Licata.
Licate is also survived by three children, including son Vinny Licata and daughters Joanne Raniolo and Michelle Licata; grandchildren Amanda, Toniann (Michael) Verbasco, Samantha and Joseph; great grandchild Giavanna Lucia; sisters Catherine Maniscalco, Nancy Reino, Jenny Alba; and brothers Vito Licata, Salvatore Licata and the late Anthony Licata.
Arrangements can be entrusted to Flower Funeral Home, 714 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on June 10 at St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave, Yonkers.
