Maryann Murphy, 84, Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford resident Maryann Murphy died on Sunday, Jan. 3. She was 84.

Murphy volunteered at The Arc, was a print model and worked at the Ferguson Library. She also worked at Murphy's Townhouse as one of its original waitresses.

She is survived by her brother, Frederick Bonhage and his wife Peggy; children Maureen Murphy-Kenefick and her husband Dr. Timothy Kenefick, Dawn Deehan and her husband George, Terry Murphy and his wife Julia, and Jennifer Murphy Wikman and her husband Todd; and her grandchildren, great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen; son James; ex-husband James Murphy; and parents, Kathleen and Frederick Bonhage.

Visitation hours will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, with a prayer service at noon. Interment will follow at Putnam Cemetery on Parsonage Road, Greenwich.
