Daniel J. Cimolonski, who turned 32 two weeks ago, was arrested on drug charges Wednesday along with 35-year-old Kristie Laird, in Suffolk County.

Paramus detectives already zeroed in on Cimolonski as a suspect in both the March 22 heist from the Diamond Exchange and the watch theft the following day.

They had fingerprints, video surveillance images, and witnesses’ description, Detective Lt. Robert M. Guidetti said this morning.

The couple was wanted in connection with four similar heists throughout Suffolk County when they were picked up.

Cimolonski, of South Setauket, is being held in Suffolk County on charges stemming from thefts in Commack, Deer Park, Huntington Station and Medford. He also is accused of stealing money from a man at a Burger King in Bay Shore.

He faces two theft charges, with $15,000 bail, in connection with the Paramus thefts.

Authorities here will move to have Cimolonski extradited once prosecutors there finish with him.
