Danbury High's Class Of 2016 Steps Out For Graduation Today

DANBURY, Conn. -- The nearly 600 students who make up the senior class will bid farewell to Danbury High School on Thursday afternoon, June 9. 

The Class of 2016 will enjoy commencement exercises on the Danbury High field on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

And Principal Gary Bocaccio will also be saying goodbye, as he retires after 42 years of service to the Danbury Public Schools.

The commencement exercises will begin at 5 p.m. on the football field at Danbury High School, located at 43 Clapboard Ridge Road. But you'll want to get there a lot earlier to get a good seat and a parking spot. 

The valedictorian address will be given by Rahul Malayappan. Class President Ciara Broggy will also address her fellow graduates.
