The most recent data from the Dutchess County Department of Health found that 36,765 Dutchess residents have been tested for COVID-19, with 3,984 testing positive for the virus. Of those cases, 1,333 remain active.
There are currently 25 patients hospitalized with the virus, while there have been 142 COVID-19-related deaths since the pandemic hit the Hudson Valley 100 days ago.
A total of 2,509 Rockland residents have been treated for COVID-19 and have since been released from isolation or quarantine.
Phase 2 includes office-based jobs, real estate, barbershops, salons, outdoor dining, and expanded retail services.
A breakdown of active COVID-19 cases in Dutchess County, by municipality:
- Poughkeepsie City: 166;
- Beacon: 95;
- Poughkeepsie: 83;
- Hyde Park: 63;
- Fishkill: 61;
- Rhinebeck: 57;
- Wappinger: 45;
- East Fishkill: 44;
- Union Vale: 29;
- Pawling: 28;
- Beekman: 27;
- Lagrange: 25;
- Wappingers Falls: 21;
- Dover: 12;
- Pleasant Valley: 8.
There are less than five active cases in Amenia, Clinton, Fishkill, Millbrook, Milan, Millerton, North East, Pawling, Pine Plains, Stanford, Red Hook, Stanford, Tivoli, and Washington. There are 525 cases pending address confirmation in Dutchess County.
According to the state Department of Health, 2,555,896 New Yorkers have been tested for COVID-19, with 378,799 testing positive for the virus as of Monday, June 8. There have been 24,299 reported deaths due to COVID-19 in New York.
