Robbery: Woman Stabs 7-Eleven Employee In Uniondale, Flees, Police Say

Police are searching for a woman who, when confronted by a Long Island 7-Eleven employee for stealing, stabbed the man and fled the scene.

It happened on Sunday, Oct. 22 in Uniondale, according to Nassau County Police.

At approximately 2:50 p.m., an unknown woman walked into the 7-Eleven located at 644 Jerusalem Avenue and began to steal from the store, grabbing items from the shelves.

Police said a 38-year-old male employee went up to the woman and asked if she needed any assistance.

She stabbed the man several times and ran out of the store with her merchandise in hand.

The robber fled south on Uniondale Avenue.

It is unclear what she stabbed the man with. He suffered injuries to his left arm and right hand and was treated at a local hospital.
