At around 11 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police were called to the 14300 block of Fairdale Road in Silver Spring, where there was a reported shooting, authorities say.
According to police, one man was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting and two others suffered undisclosed injuries. One person was taken into custody, though no charges have been announced.
No details about the suspect or a possible motive has been released by the department.
