Part Of Route 119 In Elmsford To Close Overnight For 2 Weeks

Part of a busy route in Westchester will be blocked to traffic over a period of two weeks, officials announced. 

Route 119 in Elmsford will close between Vreeland Avenue and Undercliff Avenue on weeknights for two weeks.

Route 119 in Elmsford between Vreeland Avenue and Undercliff Avenue will close weeknights beginning on Monday, April 8, and continuing through Friday, April 19, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. 

The closure will last between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night and will allow crews to conduct construction work, officials added.

Motorists should instead use the posted detour as an alternate route.
