Colgate Honors First-Year Students From New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., recently honored four first-year students from New Canaan for being inducted into a national scholastic honor society.

The four students inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, the honor society for first-year students. About 167 students received the distinction for having earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the  academic year. The students were honored at a fall banquet.

The students, now sophomores, are Molly Fox, Anne Achenbaum, Kerri Santero and Elizabeth Kilbride. All four students are graduates of New Canaan High School.
