New Canaan High School Theatre Stages 'Everything Must Change'

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan High School Theatre’s 26th annual Drama Festival titled “Everything Must Change” will be performed on April 29 and April 30 at 7 p.m. on the NCHS auditorium stage.

Students entered their one-act theme based play and four were chosen to be performed at the festival. 

Students are in charge of all aspects of the production: writing, directing, casting, costumes, and more. 

The winners of this year's festival are: 

  • First Place: "Floss" by Chloe Rosenberg
  • Second Place: "Everything’s Changed" 2025 by Joseph Turner
  • Third Place: "The Science of Farrah Fawcett Hair & How to Survive High School" by Kaitlyn Sandvik
  • Fourth Place: "The New King" by Nick LaMorte

There are also two honorable mentions, "Restarting "by Jack Dunn and "Thorns" by Katie Colwell. 

Tickets are $12 and will be sold at the door only (cash or check only). The Lobby Box Office will open at 6:30 p.m.

New Canaan High School is at 11 Farm Road.
