This whimsical play with music weaves together a collection of Jewish folk tales about the wise fools of Chelm into a single fable. Rabbi Itzik searches the world for his scattered congregation and he recounts the many trials and tribulations of his village.

The book and lyrics are by David Rush and the music by Errol Perlman. Performances will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, and Saturday,  Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. Seating will be onstage, and tickets will be limited.

Tickets are $17 and may be purchased online at www.newcanaanhighschooltheatre.com.
