NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan High School Principal William Egan praised students at a Kiwanis Club event for their excellence in academic and athletics, but also because they're "respectful to others," according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
Egan stated as principal at New Canaan High School in July.
"I’ve been very impressed with the students and parents at the high school,” Egan said. “First of all, I’m most impressed with how kind everyone has been, to me, and to each other. They’re very successful academically, but are also just a great group of kids," he reportedly said, says the article.
Among goals, Egan wants to enhance the feeling of "community and culture" at the high school, says the report.
