What is a color run? It’s a fundraising 5K run/walk where color powder paint is thrown in the air at the start of the race and at five different color stations (purple, yellow, green, red, and blue) along the route. Runners get covered in color for a rainbow effect.

The event is open to all ages with a kids dash as well. Registration is $30 online, or $40 on the day of the race. Both events will start at the high school and run through Waveny Park.

Registration and sign in will begin at 8 a.m. on the day of the race.

All proceeds will benefit the New Canaan Scholarship fund, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
