New Canaan Schools Closed Friday Due To Snow

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — As cleanup from Thursday’s snowstorm continues, New Canaan Public Schools are closed Friday, Feb. 14, giving students a jump start on winter break— which begins Monday.

Teacher professional development begins at noon Friday. Administrative offices open at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

This is the second consecutive snow day for New Canaan students this week and the fourth in two weeks.

With schools closed all next week for February vacation, students won’t be back at school until Monday, Feb. 24.
