New Canaan Schools To Dismiss Early Monday

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canann public schools will send kids home early Monday due to snow and sleet forecast for the afternoon.

Rain, snow and sleet are all in New Canaan's weather forecast this afternoon.

Dismissal times are as follows:

New Canaan High School: 10:30 a.m.

Saxe Middle School, 7th & 8th grade: 10:30 a.m.

Saxe Middle School, 5th & 6th grade: 11:15 a.m.

South Elementary School: 11:15 a.m.

East and West elementary schools: Noon.

St. Aloysius School will dismiss students at 11 a.m. and New Canaan Country School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. because of the bad weather. St. Luke's School is on its mid-year break and there are no classes today.
