12 New Canaan Football Players Sign To Play In College

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A dozen members of the Class L state champion New Canaan High School football team will continue playing at the collegiate level after committing to schools on National Signing Day, according to the New Canaanite blog.

The members of the Rams who will play at the collegiate level and their college choice include:

  • Connor Buck, linebacker, Colgate University
  • Nick Cascione, quarterback, Sacred Heart University
  • Joao Rocha, offensive lineman, Middlebury College
  • Cole Harris, linebacker, Fordham University
  • Michael Root, linebacker, Lafayette College
  • Michael Donnelly, offensive lineman, Lafayette College
  • Alex Dobbin, defensive tackle, Bowdoin College
  • Max Wilson, defensive back, Bowdoin College
  • Mike DiCosmo, defensive back, Colby College
  • Jack Gilio, wide receiver, Wooster College
  • Ryan McKenna, offensive lineman, Endicott College
  • Beau Santero, offensive lineman, Amherst College
