Codd Leads New Canaan Blazers Boys To Win At Brewster Invitational

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Bart Codd of the New Canaan Blazers youth cross country team won the individual title and the Blazers took home the team crown Saturday at the Brewster Bear Invitational in New York.

Codd covered the 2,500 meter course in 9:23:10 as the Blazers put five runners among the top 11. Brendon Mulvaney was fifth overall, followed by Dylan Imbruce (eighth), Christian Meyer (ninth) and Billy Bennett (11th).

New Canaan easily won the team crown, compiling 29 points.

In the girls race, Georgia Stewart (fourth place) and Meredith Waldron (17th) were the top New Canaan runners.
