NORWALK, Conn. – Steven Kreuch led a clean sweep of the 1-meter board by divers from Darien clubs at Monday’s Fairfield County Swimming League 14-and-under championships at Shorehaven Country Club in Norwalk.

On the girls side, New Canaan’s Kylie Towbin and Stamford’s Rachel Burston were the top two finishers on both the 1- and 3-meter boards.

Kreuch, who competes for Tokeneke Club and will be a freshman at Darien High School, won the 1-meter with 282.3 points. Robby Waters of Middlesex took second with 190.85, and Cesar Pena, also of Middlesex, was third with 187.3.

Kreuch won the 3-meter with a score of 239.05, followed by Cameron Rhind of the Lake Club with 194.85 and Owen Johnson of Belle Haven with 151.8.

“It was my goal to win both of them,’’ said Kreuch, who also won league titles in younger age groups. “I’m a little surprised I was able to win both of them. There was a lot of good competition.”
