Fairfield Woman Wins Race In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Peter Brady of Jersey City, N.J., and Fairfield’s Cait Bradley were the top men’s and women’s finishers Wednesday in the Four on the Fourth road race in New Canaan.

Brady, 40,covered the four-mile course in 21:46. Bradley, 25, won in 23:43. Tim Downs of Norwalk took second in the overall field, followed by Joe Mummert of Southbury. Nicholas Sykes of New Canaan was fourth and Bradley was fifth overall.

Sarah Cotton of Madison finished second among women, followed by Caroline Murray of New Canaan.

There were 299 finishers. The top Masters (40-and-over) were Barry McMaster of Darien in 24:32 and Sharon Vos of Old Greenwich in 26:59. Complete results are available online
