Frisco Roughriders 16, Chattanooga Lookouts 7

The Karl Chevrolet Frisco Roughriders beat the Chattanooga Lookouts 16-7 on a beautiful Saturday morning at NCCS. The Roughriders were led by Chris Talamo and Wally Brown with four hits each. Carson Perlman pitched a solid inning. Alex Bothwell made two stellar pays at second base.  The Lookouts were led by Jack Murphy's two hits and inning pitched. A.J. Eason shrugged off being hit in the ribs and got a couple of hits. Ed Gentner was solid behind the plate.

Reno Aces 19, Toledo Mud Hens 18

The Design Solution Reno Aces squeaked past the Hutchinson Tree Care Toledo Mud Hens, 19-18, in a pre-Fathers' Day treat. The Aces were led offensively by the long drives of Mathew Wronski, Justin Villenueve and Joey Bucci, who combined for 12 hits and 10 RBIs. Noah Radecki and Riley Gardiner were sure-handed in the field.  Ben Loomis played a great first base, including an unassisted double play. The Mud Hens brigade was led by Chris Luchette, Dylan Murray and Tyler Morse, who all had multiple hits. Defensively Matthew Mazabras, Jackson Slazyk and Ryan Wenburg played flawlessly in the field, making play after play.

New Orleans Zephyrs 12, Birmingham Barons 12

In the final game of the season, the New Orleans Zephyrs, sponsored by Walter Stewart Market, fought a tough battle with the Birmingham Barons and tied 12-12. The Zephyrs were led early by clutch hitting from Max Budnick, Ryland Strine and Sean Watchmaker. Griff Gentner and Beau Johnson rallied the Zephyrs with late-inning hits to secure the tie.
