New Canaan Field Hockey Player Earns Regional Honor

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Players from New Canaan, Wilton, Darien and Greenwich were named this week to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association all-region team.

Wilton's Madison Hendry was named to the Southern New England field hockey All-Region team.

Named to the Southern New England Regional squad were New Canaan’s Bridget Falcone; Wilton’s Madison Hendry, Joanne Nazareth and Lizette Roman-Johnston; Darien’s Kat Huber; and Greenwich Academy’s Annie Leonard, Pamela Schulman and Emilia Tapsall.

Players from Rhode Island and upstate Connecticut were also named to the team. Players were selected in nine other regions of the country.
