New Canaan Man Takes Football Coaching Job With Trinity College

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan’s Kyle Duncan will be furthering his football coaching career this fall at Trinity College in Hartford.

Duncan will be taking over as the running back coach for the Bantams after doing the same at his alma mater, Bowdoin College, where he mentored All-NESCAC ball carrier Zach Donnarumma, a statement from Trinity said. He will also help in the recruiting process.

He will be replacing Ray DeMartino, who took a position with Rhodes College, on Jeff Devanney’s staff. Duncan will be helping Trinity in its attempt to repeat as New England Small College Athletic Conference champions.

He was a three-year starter at center for Bowdoin, the statement said.

In addition to coaching, Duncan will be pursuing his master’s degree. He graduated from Bowdoin in May 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in government and legal studies.
