Tennis Gold Medalists To Play In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – The world’s top-ranked doubles team, Olympic gold medalists Bob and Mike Bryan, will play an exhibition match at The Lake Club in Wilton on Saturday, Aug. 25.

The 34-year-old twin brothers square off against Andreas Siljestrom of Sweden and Martin Emmrich of Germany at the club on the Wilton-New Canaan line. The match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

A limited number of tickets are available for purchase by the general public at www.premiertennistravel.com. The two-ticket option provides courtside seating at $75 per person. High-top table seating for four is $400. Concessions and refreshments will be available during the event. 

The Bryans won a gold medal last week in London. They have won 78 Association of Tennis Professionals tournaments, including 11 Grand Slam titles. They are currently rated the top men’s doubles team in the world by the ATP, a position they've held since 2003.

The Bryan Brothers Shootout will benefit the National Tennis Foundation and Norwalk Grassroots Tennis. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to each charity.
