Danbury, Weston and Bullard-Havens of Bridgeport also won games Tuesday. The games were switched to Tuesday due to the forecast for snow on Wednesday and Thursday.

Stamford routed Westhill, 42-21, behind five touchdown passes by quarterback Jalen Brown. Brown’s 27 touchdown passes and 2,335 passing yards this fall were the fourth highest total in the state in both categories, according to statistics by MaxPreps. Stamford finished with its best record since 2011 and capped a huge turnaround after finishing 2-9 last year. Westhill finishes the year 3-8.

Trinity Catholic also had a turnaround season, capped by Tuesday’s 48-14 win over Wilton. After finishing 0-11 last year, second-year coach Don Panapada’s team rebounded with a strong campaign. Its only losses were to New Canaan, Darien, St. Joseph and Greenwich, all of which are in contention for state playoff berths. Wilton finished the season 3-8.

Danbury beat Ridgefield, 34-6, and finished the season 8-3. Tysheen McCrea scored three touchdowns for the Hatters, and quarterback Anferny Ith tossed three touchdown passes in the win over Ridgefield. The Hatters have an outside chance to make the Class LL state tournament. The eight wins under first-year coach Mark Ecke are the most in past decade for the Hatters, who had won a total of five games over the past two years. Ridgefield finished the season 2-9.

Weston finished 5-6 after beating archrival Joel Barlow, 35-0. Peter Lummis ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more to lead the Trojans, who went 3-8 last year. Coach Chris Pace won his first game in the rivalry with Barlow, and the Trojans have won four of the last five in the series. Barlow finished the season 4-7.

Bullard Havens (9-2) routed Bassick, 44-6. The Tigers finished the season on an eight-game winning streak for its best season since 2009, when the team also finished 9-2. Bassick finished 0-11.

The high school football regular season concludes Thursday for most Fairfield County teams. The most highly anticipated game is the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference title contest between New Canaan and Darien. Both teams are undefeated. Kickoff is at 10:30 a.m. at Boyle Stadium in Stamford.

In other games on Thursday, Brien McMahon plays at Norwalk at 10:30 a.m.
