FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – The plot of the 2012 Fairfield County high school football season thickened this past weekend with a heartbreaking Darien loss and the start of the first Westhill winning streak in four years.

Former Stamford High head football coach Kevin Jones and The Daily Voice sports reporter Eric Gendron break down an entertaining Week 3 and look ahead to the upcoming weekend of Fairfield County high school football.

In addition to the games, Kevin also talks about his experience with bye weeks and rivalry games.

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A bicyclist was injured Tuesday afternoon after an accident on Ponus Ridge Road in New Canaan, police said.

The cyclist sustained a hand injury and was transported to the hospital for treatment, Sgt. Carol Ogrinc said.

There was no vehicle involved, and the cause of the accident was unknown, she said.
