The one week session costs $559 and includes a full Yankees uniform including hat, jersey, pants, socks & belt; a field trip to Yankee Stadium on a Major League charter bus, including exclusive tour of the stadium; a 45-minute "Meet and Greet" with a player on the Yankees current roster; a World Series ring or trophy experience and a photo or baseball autographed by a player on the Yankees current roster.

Campers will participate in a curriculum employs simple yet comprehensive principles paired with straightforward terminology "to enhance the baseball ability of each camper," according to a release.

By pairing physical principles with clear-cut vocabulary, the time necessary to understand fundamental baseball skills is compressed, "resulting in greater development over a shorter period of time."

The New York Yankees Summer Camps coaching staff is comprised of professionally trained coaches with extensive experience at the youth, high school, collegiate and professional coaching levels.

The Yankees specifically choose teachers and educators with outstanding backgrounds working with and motivating children, and extensive background checks are performed.

Boys and girls ages five to 13 can sign up for the camp.

The camp runs daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but before and after care is also available from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., respectively.
