Person Struck, Killed By Metro-North New Haven Line Train A person was struck and killed by a westbound Metro-North train. The incident took place around 5:50 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15 on the New Haven/West Haven line, Metro-North officials said. The train #1513 from New Haven, has been canceled and combined with another line. Commuters are being told to listen for announcements at their station for replacements, connections. Person Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train Near Darien A 50-year-old man was struck and killed by a Metro-North train Thursday night near Darien. According to Metro-North officials, the incident took place around 7:35 p.m. Dec. 13 at Noroton Heights. The train had departed Grand Central at 6:49 p.m. headed for New Haven. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identification is pending notification of next of kin. MTA Police are investigating. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
