NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Madeline Brinckerhoff, 88, a New Canaan native and former Ridgefield resident, died March 31 at Masonic Care in Newtown. 

Brinckerhoff was born Sept. 12, 1923, to Harold and Euphema Leonard. Married to the late Dr. Paul Brinckerhoff, she was a day care provider for many years before her retirement.
