NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Kate Regan, the New Canaan woman charged in the hit-and-run death of an elderly man two years ago, once again had her case continued in Norwalk Superior Court on Wednesday.

The family of Krishna S. Jayaraman has filed a $2.5 million lawsuit against the woman motorist accused of killing him. The 84-year-old New Canaan man was struck at the mailbox in front of his home in August.
