The Connecticut Department of Transportation said the closures will be necessary as part of ongoing safety improvements. The closers will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Southbound on/off-ramps from, Exit 31 to 35 between New Canaan and Stamford will be closed. Detours will be posted. Here's a glance, provided by the DOT, of the exits affected by the closures:
Southbound Exit 35 High Ridge Road Off Ramp: Closed Monday, 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. A detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 SB Exit 34 Long Ridge Rd, left on Long Ridge Rd to rte 15 NB to exit 35 High Ridge Road.
Southbound Exit 35 High Ridge Road On Ramp: Closed Monday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. A detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 NB Exit 36 Old Stamford Rd, Left on Old Stamford Rd , left on Route 15 SB.
Southbound Exit 34 Long Ridge Road Off Ramp: Closed Wednesday 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. A detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 SB to exit 33 Den Rd., left on Bangall Rd, left River Bank Rd, Left at Roxbury Rd, and Left on Den Rd to Route 15 NB on ramp to exit 34 Long Ridge Road.
Southbound Exit 34 Long Ridge Road On Ramp: Closed 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday. A detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 NB to exit 35, left on High Ridge Road, right on cross over (jug handle) to Route 15 SB.
Southbound Exit 33 Den Road Off Ramp: Ramp will be closed 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday. A detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 SB to exit 31, Right on North Street, left on Route 15 NB, exit 33 Den Rd, right on Roxbury Rd, right on River Bank Road , right on Bangall Road, right on Den Road.
Southbound Exit 33 Den Road On Ramp: Ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic , Left on Bengall Road, left on River Bank, left on Roxbury Road, left on Den Road. to Route 15 NB, exit 34, left on Long Ridge Road, right on SB Route 15.
