WILTON, Conn. — Traffic has been reduced to one lane of alternating traffic on the bridge on Sugar Hollow Road in Wilton, police said.

Alternating traffic will be in place until further notice after a recent inspection by the Connecticut Department of Transportation determined the bridge is in need of repairs, police said.

The bridge takes traffic over the Norwalk River on the small road off of Route 7.
