You know what?? It was Yonkers Daily Voice to alert me that someone was hit on Hartsdale, before any other news came out about it yesterday. Sure I read about it on the train going home last night. It's not positive news!! But, it was something that involved many people that use the Harlem line of Metro north. View Comment
The 8:20 train leaving Fleetwood was 10 minutes late. I'm pretty sure other trains that came later were really delayed. The fact that he wanted to kill himself is a shame. We all have hard times, but you have to let it go and deal with things. Our lives are so important if not to him at this time, but the people around him. Very sad. Very sad! View Comment
For my own personal reason, I don't really care whom your voting for. It's free advertisement that your providing to a political opponent. I don't know about everyone else but I get garbage vote for me postcards in the mail, go on metro north and have more people trying to get my vote. I do notice that the signs went from astorino to Bramson. I'm pretty sure it's because many people didn't see Bramson advertising as much as astornio. What a waste of paper. I vote for whom I want and not the political party. plus Mr. Bramson doesn't control what citizens do. People will do what they feel is right for them. You can't change that. :) View Comment
This all sounds good. but are they going to have video camera all over the place? Hey I live on Bronx River Road in Yonkers I can spot many people on the phone and the police don't notice this. What makes texting any different? They need to show those violent videos on texting. Or maybe show at schools when children are learning drivers education what happens when they text and drive. How can we teach our children how danger it is, when many of us still smoke and our children are smokers? View Comment
So glad that it's going to be enforced. I know the owners of 849 Bronx River Road has it's maintenance person using the leaf blower all the time, including supers on Bronx river road. I will have to forward this article to each of them.
And no one forcered Robert Speranza to get on the boat. People take chances all the time. It was Mr. Speranza's decision to get on the boat, no one made him. He wanted to do it. No one really new about the 12-foot wave. It's sad that Mr. Speeranza lost his life. But, to blame and make someone pay for the loss of his life, is WRONG!! View Comment
