I bet you a million bucks the first laptop seized and searched is going to cause a lawsuit. Hey Fairfield BOE- THE LAPTOPS DO NOT BELONG TO YOU. Suspect a student of cheating, FLUNK THAT PERSON. So what? staff thinks a student has illegal stuff on school property in their personal cars, in their trunk and expect to search their trunk.... YEAH OK. Good luck with that. People are forgetting about our Amendments... A US Citizen has RIGHTS. Cross that line and thou shall be punished! By the way, are cell phones allowed in school? When I was still in school, phones were banned. Did I have one? Yes. Did school officials know? DAMN RIGHT. Did they try to take my phone away? They tried.
