I agree with Ken P. To be able to walk a community you have to be able to get from where you live to where you want to go--work, errands or pleasure--and back again. If the definition of walkablity is driving from home to a lot, parking and then walking, then NC and Fairfield are good walking towns. But if it means leaving your car in the garage and opting instead for public transportation to the walkable parts and then back again, most of CT is very far behind. There's a reason low-income people live along the Post Road I-95 corridors; those are the only places buses run with frequency. View Comment
