Most realize that the last thing we need in Hartford is another republican Governor. Governor Malloy is finally getting us out of the mess created by years of republican governors
Some uneducated will blame the state house, however the educated understand that the buck stops at the governors desk.
Thanks to Governor Malloy we now have a 500 million surplus.

Any small glitches that the site had were due to the overload of people on the site. This just speaks to the success and popularity of health care reform. The sites are now working perfectly. View Comment
Yes Mary you said it.. Also I would add that its sad how the Republicans are acting like a brat that didn't get their way. If it were not so sad it would actually be funny. The lies they post are not even close to believable.
Actually I only see one person posting all the lies and right wing propaganda.. Didn't you have a bunch of your user names banned yesterday for this same bad behavior. I think I speak for everyone when I say to stop with the over posting. This is not your own blog. The purpose is to comment on the article and not post your childish nonsense over and over again. Do hunters really need semi-automatic AR-15 assault weapons? Is that how they roll in deer season? The US public doesn’t think so.
Cannabis Use May Cause Brain Inflammation
Marijuana use may cause inflammation in the brain that leads to problems with coordination and learning, a new study in animals suggests.
The study also teased out why this brain inflammation leads to motor and learning problems, and found a surprising answer — cannabis activates immune cells that appear to play a critical role in how a brain region called the cerebellum works.
Marijuana Use May Shrink the Brain
Smoking Pot Could Have Lasting Effects on the Brain
June 2, 2008 -- Long-term marijuana use may actually shrink certain parts of the brain and have lasting effects on mental health.
A new study shows heavy marijuana use over several years was associated with structural differences in at least two different regions of the brain, the hippocampus and amygdala.
Researchers found that the hippocampus, which is thought to regulate memory, was an average of 12% smaller among marijuana users, compared with people who didn't smoke pot. The amygdala, involved in emotion and memory, was an average of 7% smaller.
The study also suggests that long-term marijuana users were more likely to report symptoms associated with mental disorders, although the strength of their symptoms didn't meet the criteria for diagnosis of mental illness.
