The start of the week is likely to have highs around freezing during the day and lows at night in the mid-20s.
“There is a slight warming trend as we go through the week,” said Accuweather Meteorologist Mark Paquette.
Temperatures are expected to rise to the upper-30s and mid-40s by the end of the week.
There is a chance of snow Monday night, “Most of it should be to the south, it should be nothing but flurries,” Paquette said. More snow could be possible Wednesday, he added.
By Friday, temperatures will have risen enough that a storm forecast for Friday should be mostly rain and relatively weak.
“After we get by this week we’ll have a major warm up before Valentine’s Day,” Paquette said.
A significant rain storm to take place early next week caused by warm weather the end of this week and cooler weather next weekend.
