A 70 percent chance rain is predicted to move into the area before 4 p.m. and could dump up to a quarter-of-an-inch of rain before becoming scattered showers overnight, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are forecast to remain in the 50s with lows in the 30s.

Once the rain moves out, Thursday calls for chilly temperatures early with a high near 53, but wind chill factors will make the temperature feel more like 30 to 40 degree, said the NWS.

The weekend calls for additional sunny skies and cooler temperatures with highs in the 40s and 50s and lows in the 30s.
