Snow, Rain Make Their Return To New Canaan This Weekend

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 30, according to the National Weather Service. The wind chill values will be between 10 and 20. It will be windy, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 16 and wind chill values between 10 and 15.

Friday will be sunny, with a high near 35 and wind chill values between 10 and 20. The northwest wind will be between 6 and 11 mph. Friday night will be increasingly cloudy, with a low around 22 and a calm wind.

Snow is likely to hit the area on Saturday. The coastline will mostly see snow before 11 a.m., then becoming rain and snow between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and rain likely after 2 p.m. The interior portion of the county will see snow after 11 a.m. The high will be around 38, and the chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than an inch is possible.

The snow will continue Saturday night before midnight. The low will be around 30. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible.

Sunday will be partly sunny, with a high near 40. Sunday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 25.
