FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County will get to experience a couple days of warm and sunny weather before clouds roll in and temperatures drop, bringing rain and a chance of snow.

Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 53 and northwest winds between 11 and 14 mph, according to the National Weather Service. It will cool down Wednesday night, when it will be mostly clear, with a low around 30. The north wind will be between 6 and 10 mph.

Thursday will also be sunny, with a nigh near 50, though wind chill values will be between 20 and 30 early. The clouds will begin increasing in the night, with a 40 percent chance of rain after midnight and a low around 35. There will be a light wind Thursday night as well.

Winter could rear its head again on Friday, when rain and snow is likely before noon, followed by rain. The high will be near 41. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, with new snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible. Rain will continue Friday night, when the low will be around 35.

Rain is likely to continue Saturday morning, followed by cloudy skies with a high near 46. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Spring will reappear on Sunday, which will be mostly sunny with a high near 51.
