Goldenberry Moves From Darien To New Spot In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Goldenberry completed its move from Darien to New Canaan, opening its doors Wednesday in the new location.

Goldenberry had its first day in business at its New Canaan location after about 23 years in Darien.

The store offers authentic teas, gift baskets, sausages, candy and more from Great Britain, Ireland and Scotland. In addition to the food favorites, it also sells semi-precious and fun fashion jewelry, candles and paper goods.

Owners Deb and Rich routinely go back and forth between the United States and the United Kingdom looking to bring new items over, Goldenberry’s website said. They also taste everything themselves before buying it and are always open to suggestions from customers.
