Greenwich Serves Up Specials For Second Annual Restaurant Week

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Nov. 11 fundraising dinner will launch the second annual Greenwich Restaurant Week, which celebrates hometown eateries and begins the following week.

From Nov. 12 to 18, restaurants throughout Greenwich will be offering special dishes and other enticements to diners. Some of the participating restaurants include Bella Noona, Elm Street Oyster House and Le Penguin.

For the Nov. 11 fundraiser, 500 people will be able to sample dishes from local chefs along with various wines and liquors including Keel Vodka, Whispering Angel Rose, Spiked Seltzer, Palm Breweries, Radenberger Beer and selections from Val's Putnam Wines and Liquors. It all takes place in the Ferrari Maserati showroom of Miller Motorcars.

Proceeds from the Nov. 11 event will go to the Transportation Association of Greenwich, or TAG, a nonprofit transportation services for elderly disabled and disadvantaged residents.

Tickets are $150 for general admission and $250 for VIP, and are available at the event's website.
