STAMFORD, Conn. -- New York City stylist Scott Bond is making an appearance Thursday in Stamford to talk about the positive benefits to your skin from certain fine jewelry.

Celebrity stylist Scott Bond will be at Russ Hollander Oct. to give a brief talk about how certain elements contained in fine-crafted jewelry can benefit your skin.

An Emmy Award-winning celebrity beauty and hairstylist, Bond will speak from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Russ Hollander, 154 Bedford St., Stamford. Owner of Bond Street Hair in New York City, Bond also will answer questions about hair and skin.

The talk will be followed by a champagne-and-cheese reception. Bond, who started in the business at Pierre Michel and Frederic Fekkai, has done styling work for many plays and movies and also has appeared on national television shows such as NBC's "Today."

KNOW, his signature line of all natural shampoo, conditioner and body wash, launched a few years ago. And now, he is has a special new creation in the works, organizers said.
