New Canaan Historical Society Hosting Talk On World War II

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Military historian Mark Albertson will give a talk to commemorate the 70th anniversary of World War II.

The talk will be on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Town House, located at the New Canaan Historical Society at 13 Oenoke Ridge Road. 

Albertson will speak on the clash between Nazi Germany and Russia. 

He is a historical research editor at Army Aviation magazine and is the historian for the Army Aviation Association of America. He is a member of the U.S. Naval Institute. 

He is also an adjunct in the Extended Studies Program at Norwalk Community College and has published numerous articles on issues of history and current events.
