Bridgeport Diocese Celebrates Health Care Workers At White Mass

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Sister Maureen McGuire, executive vice president of Mission Integration of Ascension Health, will be the featured speaker at St. Augustine Cathedral's 23rd annual White Mass breakfast Sunday.

“In her role, Sister Maureen provides leadership in creating strategy and initiatives in mission and values integration, workplace spirituality, ethics, leadership formation and spiritual care,” said Bishop Frank Caggiano of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport. “Her work supports the efforts of the health ministry in continuing the healing mission of Jesus and we welcome her thoughts on the many challenges faced by Catholic healthcare providers.” 

She will discuss "In God’s Image and Likeness" and explore the "spirituality and vocation of caregiving" at the breakfast gathering following the White Mass. 

Breakfast will follow Mass at Testo's Restaurant in Bridgeport. The White Mass is open to the general public. Breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. and is $35 per person.
