STAMFORD, Conn. — Metro-North trains were delayed in both directions Monday evening on the New Haven Line in Fairfield County due to a gas leak near the Stamford station.
The leak had halted trains and closed streets. The gas main has been shut down and trains were running again, according to the Twitter feed of Stamford's Turn of River Fire Department.
