The 75-year-old Norwalk man who went missing has been found, Norwalk Police announced Friday afternoon.
Alan Sonnichsen is safe, police said.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 75-year-old man who was reported missing in Fairfield County.
The Norwalk Police Department issued the alert on Friday morning for Alan Sonnichsen, who was last seen wearing a black pea coat, blue jeans and a light cap in the area. Police said he was operating a gray Subaru Outback with a license plate of AL35729.
Anyone who may have seen Sonnichsen has been asked to call police at 9-1-1 or (203) 854-3113.
