NEW CANAAN, Conn. A 17-year-old girl was not injured Friday morning after her vehicle rolled over on Jelliff Mill Road.
According to reports , the girl was driving on Jelliff Mill Road at about 8:15 a.m. when her Jeep Grand Cherokee hit a curb and then struck a stone wall and tree after she tried to steer the vehicle back onto the roadway. The girl was helped out of the overturned vehicle by a man working at a nearby home who cut her safety belt. The girl, a student at New Canaan High, was not injured.
Police gave the girl a warning for failing to drive right on a curve.
